Flash mob
Vika, Maria and Dasha
So not really done much this weekend - had a late start on Saturday morning, but went around and between all of use cleaned up the whole floor, kitchen, bathrooms, rooms, which was pretty good! After this, at about 14:00, all of us save for Corinne, and also with Vika, Dasha and Galia, went into town, to the Alexander III statue to join in a flash mob (wasn't a real flash mob per-se, more of a rainbow thing), which was really quite good fun. After this, Galia and I walked off around the island (The Island of Youth), sat by the river and had a nice long chat - we had expected that all the others would be joining us, but apparently they just decided to keep walking, and eventually went back home and to pizza Mario where they had pizza and borsch... Galia has told me that we should be able to go climbing on the third of October, which is pretty exciting! Back in the dormitory, I made dinner for Lara and myself, and afterwards, we had a nice long Disney session (all in Dutch/Flemish, as Katrien refuses to listen to it in English, which was interesting) and then went to bed.

the tall woman on the right is!)
Today, Sunday, was mostly taken up with homework and reading more of 'A Game of Thrones', which I've almost finished now. Dinner was on me, but was a sad affair, as I failed to prepare our blini correctly and it ended up being a strange mushy lump, which Maria wasn't too impressed with. Oh well, at least now we know for next time!! Now I'm just sitting here, still reading, listening to some music and being slightly amused by everyone else doing their homework. Jakob, Luís and Juan appear to have gone to Ulan Ude in the end. We may be going this following weekend though, which could be quite enjoyable, especially as Vika may be coming with us to show us around as well, which would be very useful!
Who's the little man standing on Dasha's shoulder?
